Esophagus
The esophagus is located dorsal to the trachea, which hides the esophagus from sight. The easiest place to locate the esophagus is where it goes through the diaphragm (divider between thoracic and abdominal cavity). The esophagus then proceeds dorsal to the liver, where it connects to the stomach.
Stomach
The stomach is located in the left superior part of the abdominal cavity of the fetal pig. The stomach is connected to the esophagus. In order to locate the the stomach lift the liver and and spleen and look for a small sack shaped like a deflated soccer ball.
