Kidney
There are two kidneys in the abdominal cavity of the pig, much like in humans, and can be found on the lateral sides of the pig. Move the intestines to the side that you are not trying to locate and there will be a slight lump. That is the kidney, covered in peritoneum. Simply remove this tissue to reveal the kidney.
Uriters
Once the kidney is found, the uriters are attached to it. Before finding the uriters, the mesentery that is covering the kidney must be removed. After the mesentery is removed, the uriter is visible. It looks like a vein directly in the center of the kidney.
Urinary Bladder
The urinary bladder is located inferior to the umbilical cord. To find it, you must lift the area of the umbilical cord that was cut off. Once lifted, it is easily able to be seen. It is quite like the shape of an almond.
